Center for Teaching and Learning Support

tel

In order to improve the quality of our college education, the Center for Teaching and Learning Support researches and develops teaching methods/learning methods for the University. It supports the production of various multimedia education resources and e-learning materials. Through these efforts, the Center strives to help the University deliver high-quality education, develop new teaching methods, facilitate research and development, operate academic programs, provide consultation, extend support, and establish academic information networks to support the University’s teaching and learning activities. In offline education systems of the past, students and professors gathered in a pre-arranged venue (lecture halls), and used textbooks as a communication channel to pass on knowledge and academic content. However, under new education systems used today, students can study on online platforms using multimedia and networking technology. This allows the University to develop creativity, practicality, and good character in students, which will help them lead the informatized and globalized world of the 21st century. The Center facilitates interaction between faculty members and helps them share their expertise in pedagogy, and serves the University as a joint body for learning.

Operational Objectives

Improve the learning ability of students and teaching ability of professors by carrying out research and development projects aimed at improving the effectiveness of university education (e.g. pedagogy method development, teaching and learning support and counseling, support for educational media production, etc.)
