Gumi University GMU National Examination Support Center was established to help current students and alumni successfully pass national examinations (public officials, civilian workers in the military, kindergarten teachers). Specifically, it offers academic support and student management services related to national examinations.

The University incorporated a Taegeuk mark into the University insignia to symbolize the National Examination Support Center at Gumi University and the fact that the Center supports students for national examinations in Korea, Blue, which symbolizes uncompromising righteous beliefs and honesty, and gray, which symbolizes stability and neutrality, represent fair public officials who can always remain even-keeled.

Operational Objectives

  • The University offers systematic support to help students pass national exams for public officials, which is a preferred career option for students today
  • To help students seek employment in the public sector (public officials) rather than in large corporations, which has become much more difficult lately, the University offers a systematic learning system that analyzes the characteristics of each subject and provides relevant information.
  • The University offers support tailored to the skill levels of each student primarily for common subjects (English, Korean, Korean history)
  • For the Department of Early Childhood Education, the University streamlines its academic system with national examinations for national and public kindergartens. Moreover, it provides systematic learning support at the University and departmental level for students preparing the national examinations, which ultimately helps with the specialization of the Department.

  • Provides other support services to help the National Examination Support Center achieve its operational goals
