- The EMC Center was established in 1999 when the University was selected by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development as a hub university for local industries.
- It offers one-stop service pertaining to the approval of electromagnetic specifications related to domestically consumed and exported electrical and electronic products.
- An EMI/EMS testing agency designated by the Ministry of Information and Communication
- A testing agency accredited by official bodies in the US (FCC) and Europe (CE)
- A testing agency accredited by an official body in Norway (NEMKO)
- Installed testing equipment for safety specifications in 2001
- Designated as a KOLAS approval agency in 2002

- Acquisition of domestic and overseas EMC specifications: Korea Electromagnetic Compatibility Registration/type approval, US FCC, European CE Marking, Japan VCCI
- Consulting for EMC countermeasures of developed products: EMC testing and debugging, development of EMC measures early in the designing phase
- Consultation for domestic/overseas specifications: Consulting for standardization processes in each country, applications for specifications/agency services
- EMC testing equipment rental and joint equipment room operations
R&D and Training
- EMC-related research and technology development: Analysis of domestic/foreign trends pertaining to electromagnetic waves, development of technology to address difficulties related to electromagnetic waves, research on advanced technology
- EMC-related training: Development of professionals in the electromagnetic waves field, development of EMC experts for different companies, hosting of invitational expert seminars
